New Evo?
Noticed at the top of the forum a banner for the 2008 Lancer - not a big fan in past because of styling - but it seems they may have begun down the right track with this pup...

RE: New Evo?
I LOVE IT! Total Euro style inside & out! The dash layout is hot, & you can get Navi stock! The down side, NO stick for the EVO X, it's all DSG/SMG so it's a electro/hydraulic manual.
My dealership has the new Lancer, so far it looks like a hot car! The styling is top notch.

It looks totally badass, and it should be damn fast. However, an Evo w/ navi standard from the factory, and not offered w/ a true manual transmission is a complete disgrace. Sorry. Just my opinion.
I don't understand this craze about DSG/ "F1" style sequential manuals. But whatever, they'll still sellevery one they make.

Damn! went back and started looking at the EVO (Prototype-X they call it) check out the keyless entry video - it shows a pic of the dash - in the center is a info screen damn near the same shape, size and color of our Audi's!

RE: New Evo?
Isn't that just the Lancer? Not the Lancer Evo? The Evo is much different then the Lancer. Why would they go from a 289HP (I think thats what the MR was) to a 152HP? This is just the regular Lancer, not the Lancer EVO.
