So, there is a VERY good possibility that I may get this new position that I've been lobbying for, back at the cube farm. IF I get it I'll become a "road-warrior" in about 3-6months, or so. So, if any of you stay on/near any (American) Military installations (primairly, but not limited to, Navy/Marine Corps bases) maybe we can G2G and trade some lies. I'll keep a post going of where I'm headed, when I get to that point, and y'all can chime in if ya wanna hang... Qewl?

Aww no Air Force bases?

 

It's for a Navy/Marine Corp contract, so those are the primary installations we'll be hitting. There do exist some small Navy Dets at Air Force and Army bases, so it's not completelt out of the question. Your base have a USN or USMC det we could conceivably be able to squeeze in some elbow time at the 19th hole (I don't play but, if it's a USAF base, odds are you have a golf course), one one of the consolidated clubs (again, being A.F., you guys drink WITH your officers).

Don't lose hope, man... It could happen. It rilly could.

 

OK. Got the new position. My first site engagement will be in the West Palm Beach area. Yeah, yeah, I know, it sucks, right? Being sent to WPB in June... On an Expense Account, no less. Those BASTIGES!!! How cruel!!! Only staying for TWO weeks!!!
