A lot of the ricer's try to do that too their rides. It looks alright I guess, but the fact that their car is "Purple" at all, just turns me off to the whole idea. If your car is fast enough, I guess it dosn't really matter what color you paint the thing. If you get beat by it, it just makes it that more insulting I guess...

its known here as pearlescent (changes colour in the sun) a real pain to match it when its scratched[:@] looking at the way they do it I recon it would be easier/cheaper to spray it

 

Did you guys have to download a language pack to view this site? I installed it and now its taking forever to load.

I've seen that kind of paint before, I think it looks horribly tacky.

 

No language pack for me, but I'm at work right now, and the Goverment has everything on their computers...

 

TVR do a hell of lot of their cars in this chamealeon colour. Looks cool as hell on a cool car. Looks silly on a crap car!

yeah the TVR's look nice in the chameleon paint... It's odd that their peeling and applying it the way they are, I understood it was sprayed on in layers w/ a clear in between, its a difficult technique - but i guess this was the easier way.. Just imagine the new trendz, paint shcemes in a box ! "ooh Im tired of my nogaru blue - today i want Imola" open up a box, and peel on !
