Don't know if you guys know, but there was a shooting at my school today. I had class at 2:00pm in the building, but I diddn't go to class today thank god. 6 people dead, over 20 people wounded.....WTF is wrond with the world????????????

I think the world has gone mad; so many shootings at schools, malls, even churches these days.

Glad you are OK. What a waste of young kids in your school.... I thought they were trying to put metal detectors in schools after the Columbine massacre. So easily forgotten.

 

not a feasible option. putting metal detectors at every entrance of every building on a college campus would cost sooo much. not to mention EVERYONE would then be late to class. there are so many people going in and out of everywhere. on a highschool campus it might work, but there's always ways around them, or you could just walk into school, set off the alarm, and then shoot the guard and proceed to unload on everyone else.

at FSU they have everyone's cell phone registered, and as soon as something goes down, they text everyone to GTFO! and they installed a couple towers that have the loudest speakers i've ever heard. you can hear them from my apartment nearly 2 miles away.

you can minimize the damage but you can't stop them.
