Yeah here in Ontario we can go 49 over the limit (km/h) with just a big fine. After that it's court issued, and usually not good.

I saw a ticket a guy got for doing 232km/h in a 100 zone... it was messy. The guy paid like 1100 bucks and his license was suspended for a year. He had the ticket in a photo album that he had compiled of his car.

 

You have to carefully select the time and place of your speeding. The cops will catch a careless speeder just like they catch any other careless criminal -thru their own stupidity. We don't live in a police state. You have to do something pretty stupid to even get noticed.

 

damn 40 over, geez, i can only imagine if i got caught when i was doing 155 in a 65, ooo that would have been bad.
