This year I kept things simple and celebrated with a few friends and my family in NY. My mom's birthday was on the 6th, so there was a lot of cake eating this weekend. Which is fine by me! 
I'm not sure where my twin (Redgoat) is, but yes yesterday was his birthday as well.
