Default Paris Dakar Rally

Anyone been following the coverage on OLN. Pretty crazy race this year (as always I guess). There has already been one fatality unfortunately but the racing is amazing. I didn't realize that anyone can enter and race. That is definitely a goal of mine to compete in that event. Amazing challenge, but what a once-in-a-lifetime experience if possible.

Just to successfully finish the race would be a monumental achievement in its own right. Nevermind the pro's racing for the title. Doing 120mph across the desert and then suddenly coming to a 40ft sheer drop must be pretty f-ing scary[:-]

im sure a ton of ppl neer even go past the first stage. A flat or suspension problem will put alot of ppl out of teh race unless they have alot of money or sponsors.
