new question: now my daughter wants to spend the nite at a guys house (just a friend) with a small group of her closest friends for new years eve. she promises the mom will be there and no drinking and no going any place else. i trust her so i think im gonna say yes. if she really wants to be bad im sure she would find a way on any given nite out. shes very smart and i dont think she would do something stupid.

If you trust her, and she hasnt broken your trust so far, then I dont see why not.. You could always give the other kids parents a call, just to ask if there is anything that they want your daughter to bring ie chips or something. If they sound surprised like, "What Party?" then you know something is up

I'm not saying that your daughter is getting it on, but some people in that group are, unless there are some odd circumstances.
