does it help i grew up in pittsburgh, pa so have a small set of words i pronounce strangely

What is with Pittsburg...it has it's own dialect....and sentence structures that work there, work no where else.

example...If I looked at a lawn that was overgrown, with tall grass I would say...That lawn needs to be mowed.
In Pittsburg they would say...That lawn needs mowed....
