I've lost 2 very close friends to suicide.
Depression lies... it tells you that you're a burden... that the people who love you really don't, that you make their lives worse, that they would be so much better off without you... that the problems and burdens you feel like you're carrying will never go away, never get better... the psychological pain can be unbearable.

Unfortunately, dependent people cannot always control their actions. It cannot be said that they are to blame for what they are doing, but they must be responsible for the consequences. I had to communicate with alcoholics and drug addicts, in whose eyes I saw sincere despair and a cry for help. Unfortunately, not all people are strong and ready to cope with the difficulties that have fallen their lot. Some become addicted to prescription medications, street drugs, alcohol. It seems that it is impossible to leave the weak in trouble. They should be helped so that they realize their potential and begin to solve problems on their own. I believe that everyone can change.
