Ok so I just totally stereotyped you guys based on one statement, but it is kind of true. I never even notice the Silver A8 and the BOV questions. Ok maybe the silver A8, but only because I always fall for it thinking that it is a gray A8 that someone just bought and they put up some good pics. But from now on, I want the A8 to be an A8L or I aint fallin for it.

we have on our forums (all those old 5+ star generals.) are more than willing to help out,
but we gotta try the ol' " help those that help themselves" thing.

There's a fatal flaw in the plan:
Anyone have a friend in highschool (or an idiot later in life) that got on probation? They count the days till they get off so that they can go smoke out and get smashed and otherwise break the law.
If we make a period in which new members can't post links, new topics or whatever, it won't make a difference, because 2 weeks after registering, they will post two weeks worth of the "silver A8" and "why is my car making a wierd noise" (while failing to say what model, year, mileage, engine, etc.)
Basically instead of being spread out over 2 weeks, we will get two weeks worth of n00b questions in a matter of hours.
