I wonder how this vehicle will perform sales-wise for Audi here at the end of the SUV craze and in the days of $3+/gal gas.

 

I'm gonna wait and pick one up, along with a reasonably prices VW Phaeton W-12, in about 2-3 years They'll look nice parked next to my similiarly acquired AMG SL65

 

They're stopping production on the Phaeton right? I guess because it didn't sell too well here in the States...

 

I think they just stopped sellin 'em, here. doesn't matter, if gas isn't $20.00/gal by then, I'm gonna get me a W-12 at the end of next year, when I pay off my D2...

 

Correct, they will still be sold in Europe, vw is a more respected brand in europe. I think it was a hard sell in the states to buy a vw when you could get an A8 for the same money.

 

i heard the pheaton operation was turned over to bugatti. just what i heard...who knows.....

Yea, also heard that the Pheaton was turned over to Bugatti. Sales for the Q7 were initially forcasted at 2000 units and already there are 11 000 on order.
