Yeah... ummm... I've got 8 years on him...

Nice lookin car. I *almost* got a TT convertible, but I opted for a back seat, instead. Now, everytime I drop $60.00 (and climbing) for a fill-up I wish I had gone for sometjing more economical[:@] Like, iount know, a Sherman Tank, maybe[:'(]

Oh don't even get me started on gas prices... $3.60/gallon for 93
Funny short story about the "back seat"
I had to rescue my grandparents from the side of the road. The water pump in their 98 suzuki had gone.
So I had to leave work and pick them up... in the TT
I pull up and Gramps(80) starts hunching over screaming (he has hearing problems) "HOLD ON I'M ALMOST SHRIVELED"
I just about cried, peed my pants, and crashed laughing at him the whole way home with comments such as:
"Well if I wasn't a hunch back of Notre Dame before I will be if I can get outta this clown car"
and "Are all your friends midgets? How the hell do they fit back here??"
"Isn't this car German? They aren't known for being small why would they make such a small car?"
Ahh good times! But I have vowed to never put anyone in the back seat ever again! Lesson learned!

Wow. That thing needs a lot of love. They do have huge aftermarket support though.
