I don't run one on my car and I have been driving w/out one for years and never had any problems. I even have a Euro plate upfront and they don't say anything... not even when I got pulled over for a reckless driving... which got reduced to a speeding.

My Toyota got picked up a few times in OR fora poorlyvisible frontplate (propped up in the windshield), but never my Jeep or GMC. Since the Euro Plate Group Buy problem went down, I didn't have an issue with the Audi.
I have had buddies get tickets for it though, and the only valid reason that I can see having it is one that a cop gave a friend with a WRX. With a very generic, highly sought after, often stolen car, it's important that it have both plates so that they know that the plate on the rear of his car is not the front plate off of another. It may be hard to implement a change in a law as you are asking for as current residents already have 2 plates with tags. Where does their now useless second plate go? -Devil's Advocate.

I have never been hassled for mine either. But I am sure that it is a bigger deal other places than around here.

No one in the world is going to take an 'online petition' that can be signed annonimously seriously.

I'd like to see one, just one, legitimate issue that was petitioned on petitiononline and changed as a result.

Illinois is **** about front plates and I doubt other states are willing to take the law away over an online petition. Worth trying tho

Hah I can see it now, but officer I signed the online petition so the law will change soon anyways.

We should start a petition for Topless Tuesdays.
