Rev it up
Okay, so my wife showed me a web-site called Rev it up and they have a "competition" and show this weekend in the LA/OC area. I signed up for a run. Anybody else heard of this or done it before?

RE: Rev it up
That was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed myself, even if I had to drive a Chevy.
I placed 8th in the Club class, and would have been around 14th in the Pro. They take the top 25 and have a shoot out with the Corvettes at 9pm tonight. I'm sitting on the bubble right now, and I hope that I don't get knocked out from the competition tonight. They send out text messages in a couple hours as notification. Not bad considering that I've never been on a course before and the first time in the Chevy was my first competition run. The guy was praising my time after the first run, and I wasn't sure what I had done. LOL
The biggest thing that I've learned from this experience is that most people don't F^CKING know how to drive!!! That totally scares the crap out of me. Watching most of the people was downright scary!
Even if I don't get to compete in the final, it was definitely worth it. I got to take a new Corvette around a different course too, and that was a blast. Most of it was free, and there was only a very small charge for some of the other things.
Cheers!
