Rock Band.
I like it better since your able to get a bunch of people together and play.

I also like Rock Band because it allows you to solo at the end of the songs and do your own drum fills.

Seriously, its probably fun, I've just never tried it. Always been partial to the real thing, but only love to those who like it. I was merely suggesting that someone might get more satisfaction by actually learning how to play an instrument than pretending to play one.
