Talking Ross Tech related poo stains?

I broke the horn wiring connector inside my steering wheel yesterday.

I will try to refrain from screaming conspiracy.

Anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

I soldered it.

hooked it back up,

airbag light + no horn = not amused.

(that's a t-shirt, surely)

After thinking VCDS lite doesn't clear codes I decided to see if that was the only code stored.

It was.

However, in the meantime....

Poo stains.

Cheers for that Ross Tech.

Did an auto scan of all controllers, still a little nervous that maybe an airbag could go off. I told myself a thousand times that I was being unreasonable as I had taken great care to do a good careful job of sorting the horn circuit boards.

Then, as it's scanning for stored codes, the dash starts beeping and a big exclamation came up on the dashboard.

For a split second I thought I was about to be attacked by an airbag.

I couldn't help but think "I wonder how many other people have poo stains in their pants thanks to that cheeky little bit of programming?"

I nearly dropped a load.

Anyone else?
Has to be.

But hey got the EBC plumbed in and set up for a test run and no airbag light annoying me. Also found out the free version of VCDS can clear codes.

Happy days
But with skidmarks.

Beeping on the dash could have been from when the ABS module was being accessed! Happens every time.

actually now that you mention it, sure it's happened to me previously and I forgot lol

Rings a bell it happening on ABS controller.

But hey, my pants have been in the washing machine so I'm fresh, so fresh.
