S4 2.7t or A6 2.7t?
Since my car might be TOTALED I am starting to look for a replacement... Since I never learned how to drive Manual I will be getting it in Tip just like my A4 was... Is it even worth me getting a 2.7t in tip or should I stick with all engine? Can I mod a 2.7t even though its Tip? Which 2.7t should I get?
Start over againwith something like a Mazda 3, that you will be able to learn to drive better on first before getting a nice car.
j.k. but seriously, slow down and pay attention. You're lucky if you didn't get a ticket for that $hit.

funny thing is cops in the town are complete DICKS and will give a ticket for looking at them wrong... and one of the patrol car rolled right by me and my car and I just sat there talking to my friend acting like anything happened... ignoring the cop... and he finally just drove away... I would have sooo gotten a reckless driving ticket... but thats not the point... S4 or A6?
The tuning of the B5 S4's 2.7 and the A6's 2.7 is a lot different. The S4 has a much wider power band with fast spools and a very hard pull. The A6 is tuned for comfort and seems more like a NA engine, pulling harder as it revs higher. The S4 also has different internals and keep in mind it comes stock with a lot more "sporty" equipment and features (ie. suspension and a beefier tranny). As for tip, I've seen stage III S4 tips as they seem to hold up to the power gains fairly well. When you get to stage III, probably sooner actually, however, you'll want to look into strong torque convertervs a clutch/flywheel for a manual, which would be required around stage II.
The A6 is also heavier!
