Default Scary Movies??

Ok. It's scary movie weekend and I'm looking for some good movies. I'm talking really terrible, gory, horrific movies. I'm not too into new movies but like movies in color better than black and white. Any suggestions on what I can get on Netflix for this weekend? I need a really scary movie! I can rent two at a time, so the more suggestions the better!

i dislike how nowadays movies scare you by having someone jump out of somewhere or a loud noise. thats just in the moment.

the true terror is the ones that get to you psychologically.

Night of the Living Dead is my all time favorite, the original is good.... but the one done in the early 90s was good. I am a horror movie freak, I've seen just about every scary movie from the 80s and 90s but none are really scary.

The Evil Dead Trilogy is fVcking awesome, ... it goes Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, then Army of Darkness. THey are just great. They are kinda scary but more comedy, but just great. Seriously, watch them at some point.

IT is a good one if you hate clowns. That one kinda scarred me for life, i have always hated clowns.

Hostel is supposed to be overy gory to the point you can barely watch it, i haven't actually seen that one yet.

Candyman is a good one too.

Ok sorry, I could go on and on and on... but i'll stop there.

i wouldnt raelly say Saw 1 or 2 are really scary.. They are very very good movies.. but not really scary. Cant wait to see saw 3.

18t i agree with you.. Movies like what lies beneath... That movie was scary in the theater.. but mostly just cause of all the times theyd flash soemthign on the screen and startle you. My gf at the time actually drew blood on my arm.

I always thought children of the corn was scary..mostly cause those little girls freaked the Shyite out of me.

The evil dead trilogy is awesome thoguh.

http://www.imdb.com/chart/horror

personally i think freddy cruger (sp?), and the halloween movies were good, i hated chucky when i was little, that doll still haunts me, but just dont watch the new ones, stick to the old ones.

alot of the clubs here in Phoenix are doing Hostel parties for halloween so it will probably be pretty big this year.
