I like the old school. I don't think there is one Porsche that I don't like. They even succeeded with the SUV. I love the Cayan!

That is indeed a very nice car. They have indeed done some things right. I'm not a fan of the Boxster however. Too many roaming around.

I feel the same way about the Boxster. There are way too many of them. Probably has something to do with the price tag...

not a big fan of that spoiler - unless it was on an actual RS3.8, but that could be changed while doing the engine work. It is not uncommon for people to get 300,000mi out of 911 engines, so this car could have another 2/3rds of it's life left in it. go for it, apg. throw some BBS wheels on there and you will be set.

I don't really understand about the speed part. The car only goes as fast as you make it go. Insurance would be lower than you think because of the model year. I'll let you in on another loophole, and I've talked to a lot of Porsche owners about this, insurance companies don't have a little place to check mark on their forms for a 930. Believe it or not, that is enough to keep your rates lower than you might think. You may have a point on maint. costs though. If things start heading south, then it cost more to repair than some other cars. Whether it is appreciably more than an aging Audi is a quesiton that I can't really answer.
