Skip it all, save a lil more dough and come to Colorado. Vail, Keystone, Breck, Copper, all these places have it all.

Your right they do have it all.... including the CROWDS!!!!

Steamboat Springs... enough said
Steamboat is dope. If it wasnt nearly 4 hours from town I'd go there way more often. I was simply suggesting some that are realtively close to Denver. Who wants to fly across country then drive another 4 hours from DIA? By have it all I mean lodging, terrain and nightlife. You can also throw Winter Park in there as well.

Why not try Gore Mtn. Located north of Lake George. There are plenty of 'Inn' types of places.
The Garnet Hill lodge is very nice. Skied at Gore for many years.

Squaw Valley in Ca. is nice also. They do some really good deals to stay ski in/out.

Jet blue files non stop to Sacramento, car rental and an hours dirve. Going through Donner Pass is really cool.

We have an airport here... so the drive is like 15 minutes.

If you are looking for it all... Whistler, I think i remember reading someone mentioned it before

I have been to Whistler many years ago, the place is AWSOME. The two mountains make it so you never ski the same 'trail' twice.

I think I'm sold on Killington. Anyone know where a good place to stay would be? I've seen some good Inns and the bear mountain motel. Anyplace you would recommend?
