3LG for short.
I've used 3LG for years in one form or another. It Suits me well.

I like these because of the KISS rule.

If i have to explain the rule you will not understand. :P

do the "auto detailing" part on the left as thoug it's a reflection... lay it down, along the X-axis, and keep the seconf background

I think you guys are Over thinking this by half.

KISS

Keep it simple stupid.

I am a huge fan of minimalist advertising. I don't need tricks, fancy back grounds. I want them to remember my name, not the back ground. I certainly understand What you are all getting at. Just understand Flashy is distracting from the message i am conveying in this. I'm not advertising to 1992 corrolla's with body kits. I am aiming at that 1% of the population that wants a year round solution to having a clean, respectable, near flawless car on the road.

I'm considering ideas, but i will choose fuction, conveying the message of my name, and clarity of the package over. Slick graphics, and over worked and confused imaging.

Please don't take this all the wrong way.

Okay let me put it in this perspective. If you have an audi, did you debadge? if so why? Here is why i did it. The lines of the car were grossly abused by the lettering. It cluttered the rear so very baddly. I prefer clean lines. The image i my car to convey was AUDI, not audi A4, 3.0L quattro Sline. While all of that is what my car is, and it is valid to display it. The image conveyed is too much... I wanted simply Audi. Same thing with the buisness cards. I wand CLEAR, CONSISE, Functional.

Just glancing at the logo it looks like its for an investment co. The lettering is well done. I like the orange color in the second pic. But like others have said maybe a different background color? or a 2-tone shaded blue?

If you could show maybe the edge of a car hood going diagonally with a reflection or shine of some kind. Not to be flashy but show work quality of wax( photoshoped to perfection of course). I'm talking a very small focused view of a hood, just to know its there and its cleaned very well. Afterall 3lg sounds like it has to do with shiny wax jobs. If you showed the reflection of the logo it would only be a partial aswell.

Throwing some more ideas out there. Its hard for me to explain, I might try and make up a picture.

I like the second one out of the two, i understand that you want to keep it simple but you should also try and send a clear message through your background, alot of people look at the background or pictures b4 they read the add, you want to get thier attention a bit and give a hit at what your selling b4 they read the ad..
