OK, I know this won't be a popular position BUT, this IS America. American's ARE allowed to have, hold and believe as they see fit. We've fought a few wars to establish and MAINTAIN this as a FUNDAMENTAL part of our CONSTUTIONAL foundation. TENS of THOUSANDS of Men and Women, Mother's, Father's, Sister's and Brother's fought and died for Her right to believe as She does. And, as much as I hate to admit it, as long as She doesn't impinge upon the rights of others, She IS entitled to the same protection under Local, State and Federal laws as you and I. Regardless of WHAT you may think of Her, has it not occurred to any of You who wish ill upon Her, that, by doing so, you are painting YOURSELF in the same vile colors as She? The "DEATH TO ALL FANATICS" rhetoric may sound good, and even provide a modicum of self-satisfying sanctimony, but, in the end, HATE is NEVER a good thing. Hers you can do nothing about. Yours, on the other hand, IS something you DO have control over. Feel sorry for Her, instead. Pray for Her, if you are able. But, to HATE just because someone else does makes YOU no better than THEM. I'd like to think YOU are ALL much, much better than She is, in that regard.

Some of you are not used to being hated just because of who you are, or what you represent (take that any way you want, but, those who have been will understand what I mean), so your vitriol can almost be understood. Almost. Hating someone simply because they hate You, or what you represent (skin color, country of origin, education, socio-economic-status, etc.) takes more energy, emotionally AND intellectually, than it is worth. ALL She wants is attention. The media gives it to Her because it provides a "sensational" aspect that draws in simple-minded viewers too ready to HATE any who do not adhere to their school of thought. Don't buy into the hype. She's had Her 15 minutes. Let her slip back into whatever puss-hole She sprung from.

As a veteran I did/do not have teh luxury of picking and choosing whom my defense of this country represented, BUT, I did/do know the VALUES I was willing to lay my life on the line for. Freedom to live as one believes, no matter how retarded I might think it is, was one of them. Some of you American's tend to forget that, on occasion.

It's funny, but nutcases like that only maintain their steam when others fuel their fire. If people would simply just shrug as they passedand giving them nothing more her and her hate filled brood would simply die off or find some other avenue to aggrivate the masses.

Though it would be poetic justice to slip them all some acid laced Avian water and have Jack Black dressed up as Jesus mindfvck the whole bloomin Brady Bunch for the night - now that would be some reality tv entertainment - you betcha!

 

It would of been nice to see the military turn and shoot them all down during 1 of the 21 gun solutes that they ignorantly protested in front of. I believe if they are truly unhappy with America then they should move the F*** out. We all have are freedom of speech and beliefs but like everything it must be with-in reason.

 

Its true, if you can't allow the retards to have their freedom of speech then you can't allow anyone else too either.

Besides, if you think calling someone names and pickiting is worthy of a death sentance then you have some serious issues to think about why some soldiers died for you (and them) to have their own beliefs just so you can kill them for being different. Sounds like the ideas of the **** regime a few years ago.

Me, i have very little respect for anyone involved in fire & brimstone type religions and feel very sorry for her children because they can never leave a life not full of hate.

Hating them back only fuels their fire. It would be best if any of you ever meet a family like this just to walk away and not say anything. Their ignorance will only make you angry and that to them proves they are right.

 

^^^Exactly, just because someone ELSE is intolerant does NOT mean *I* have to be. I believe there is something in the "Christian" religion about "turning the other cheek," is there not? If you let soomeone or something outside yourself dictate how YOU feel, to the point where you wish harm or hate on another, that doesn't sound very Christian-like, to me. Not for *them* and certainly not for you (those who are Christisan). My tenents follow the Islamic belief, FWIW, but MY religion promotes PEACE (don't let the media hype and the misguided devotions of who say/believe differently fool you). Anybody who's known me from my postings will attest to my peaceful leanings. My belief does NOT, however, require that I allow soomeone to harm me or mine without me defending myself, or them. This includes my Military "family" if you will. If any of YOU are rollin with me (or I with you) and something starts, I will be in it to win it, right there WITH you, regardless of your race, creed, color, religious-beliefs, whatever. Words are a different story. Words only hurt if you let them. As I said, I know, from several different standpoints, what if feels like to be hated simply because who you are or what you represent. To me, if feels like *they* (those who hurl words as weapons) are being fools. There is NOTHING in my make up, or my belief system that says I have to suffer fools. Neither does it require that I hate them for being fools, or wish them ill because of it.

Hate is a very powerful, very dangerous emotion. Hate will pull you outside of yourself and make you do stupid things (witness the KKK, for instance) in spite of your better judgement. Hate will eat you up, from the inside, and leave nuthing but a mean, spiteful shell in it's wake. Most, if not ALL of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines realize that She is a sad, pathetic example of what hate can do to a person. Don't let it do that to you. I believe *we* are better than that. I *hope* we are, anyway.

 

AMEN BRUTTHA! that's why i use the word. but, i have seen these clips of this chick and her family and it doesn't sit well. i too, have raised my hand a few times now, to defend freedom and democracy to any and all individuals who cherish the right to speak, prostest, or even rumble. i luv constitution, but this woman needs to live in a real, down-to-earth democracy that embraces real bibleizm (those countries to the right that like us, but don't exactly like us,) i can tolerate all american peoplez, but i'd rathershe call out in her owm privacy of her home, like the good racial hatin' folk of this county do, in private

 

I don't want you all to think I'm some "highly enlightened" life form visiting your realm from beyond a great dimensional barrier (well, I AM, but that's not my point...), I, too sometimes secretly wish for certain others' untimely demise, but, as the moment passes, so does my wish. I'm just sayin' don't let hate rule your actions, or reactions. Breathe. Slowly, and in a controlled manner. Otherwise you mess up your sight-picture!
