Man if my wife or whatever made enough money to support us and I didnt make as much as here that only means one thing, the money i make can be spent on TOYS like og lets say GT28RS or how about a built motor 2.0 ltr conversion with forged internals...... Man that would be the life

i've done both and maybe its just me, but housework with a child isn't difficult to me.
although i do think it is better to have one parent home and i do think its probably the best job to have in the family whether its a man or woman.

LOL i find this amusing.

I am a stay at home dad. have been for about 3.5 years.

It's not cake.

last two days the kids have been puking like mad. I have washed like 9 sets of sheets, pillows and 45 different sets of cloths.

It is another world unto it's self harder than it looks with very very little free time other than typing crap out.

like this message.

Off to change laundry, start dinner, and then get the kids straightened out.

as kids get older i think it would be easier. as they hit school, and grow up more. but with mine being 2 and 3 i am a ways off.

I don't plan to do traditional jobs. This year I started real estate investing and bought a house that was in need of repair and turned it for a profit of about 10k. It was my first one so the next few should get quicker and more profitable. I plan on doing 5-7 a year now that I have a bit of experience under my belt.

you failed to say you work from home. i don't consider that the same as just being a stay at home parent and only concentrating on housework and a child.

This April will mark my 3rd year of being a stay at home Dad. The funny thing was I always joked with people that I was going to retire buy the time I was 30 and 2 weeks before I turned 30 I started staying home with our then 3 month old and the 7 yr old (now 3 and 10). Originally my wife wanted to stay home but she made alot more $ than me and there was no way I was going to give up all my toys and Cars so we could try to make it on my Salary plus she had her degree and I didn't. I definitely miss working and talking to adults everyday but it was the best thing for the Family. I still have a little income I buy cars that have been in small accidents and fix them up and sell them for a profit hopefully.

I don't know why men have a problem with there wife's making more $ than them. Think of it this way the more the 2 of you make together the more Toys and upgrades you can buy for your car's
