Fecking hillarious. I do not like hicks AT ALL and there are a ton of them here in SoDak. As Adam stated though, it looks to be a little staged, but who the hell knows.

 

Can't say for sure, but having grown up around the southern version of these guys, I can tell you this appears completely staged. First, if you are armed and some crazy yahoos are chasing you around, you would not go to some remote area (with a girl) to decide to take them on. Most would simply pull over into a populated place and proceed with whatever became necessary from there. Second, not even an idiot would send his girlfriend over close to the guy to get the camera, setting her up to be a potential hostage and putting her directly into the line of fire. (there are about fifteen other reasons why this is probably not real) but Finally, the dialogue is like that of a bad **** movie (or so I've heard).
Anyway, funny as hell and great entertainment but seems extremely unlikely. For my next mythbuster I will explain why professional wrestling is actually real!

 

Staged or not, the deal-maker is that they're CANADIAN rednecks - "Hey, lookit that zed-four, eh? What an *******!"
