Default Test Drive 2001 BMW M5

I went to my cousin's wedding and while I was up there, I decided to stop by
the dealer where I bought my first BMW. Me and my salesman chat for a bit
and I ask him if I could take the M5 for a drive.

I hate to say this but after taking the M5 on the highway, I forgot to see the
speedo and by the time I'm in 3rd gear, I'm almost at 100mph! Maybe someday
I'll try out the RS4 to see how it runs because I would love to have one of them
M5 in my garage next to my A4.

I've still never driven a BMW in my life. Maybe one of these days i'll drive on over to the BMW dealership and take one out for a spin.

I have never driven an M5, but I have been a passenger in one....One of my favorite cars....very stealthy....very good ride and lots of go,go. Reminds me allot of a larger S4...

if you haven't picked up yet, im a bit of a bmw fan.. and the E39 M5 is one of the greatest bmws ever made. a lot of people in my bmw forum don't like the '06, i haven't quite figured out what the problem with 500hp is..

I think I"ve said this before..... but BMW's have lost their appeal to me because I can't think of anyone that doesn't have one. They are like the new Honda civic/toyota corola (fill in the blank) of the middle class..... I dunno, maybe it's just me, but seriously, everywhere i've lived, every 5th car you pass is a bmw. I like them, they are fun to drive, but i'd much rather have a car you don't see that often. I drove a M3 convertable around for a few months while my uncle was out of town and I was watching his house for him, it was quite fun.... but I dunno.
