Why does Hollywood not make any new movies, it seems like most of the movies that are being made now are either remakes or new trlogies, series, etc. Have the run out of new ideas?

it's cuz they're too lazy to think of something new and creative. they get comfortable in the fact that a prior story line and cast of characters has already had box office success, so even if the next movie sucks, they're pretty much guaranteed the money will still roll in.
