I'm still on the fence about the American Top Gear series. Much of what I like about the original is the way James, Jeremy, and Richie play off each other, and the humor they use - it's much funnier when British guys say the stuff they say. I'll reserve judgment until I see it, but I'm not exactly waiting with baited breath.

That sounds like something a grandma would say.

don't know - Corolla bugs me in some ways and I'm with Upstate on this - the chemistry between the three on the original show is great. And that is the 800 lb gorilla challenge the Americanized version will face...

Being witty is one thing - being a witty trio is quite another...

Then who will be the American Stig? or will he be called "the Stig"?

Probably watch a couple of episodes and see how it pans out - but I'm not betting for it...

You know what? Just because of his opinion on muscle cars, I am now absolutely 100% thrilled to see this show.

American muscle cars are a stupid thing.

Sure they look and sound great but they can only go in a straight line. That's not driving - that's dragracing!

For as much snootiness that Clarkson musters on American engineering - he does have one thing correct... we still have alot to learn...

Wow I was at my friends house and watching TG on BBCA and man it blows. The same show, but with commercials they cut out about 15 minutes which is a lot for top gear. Also does anyone know when this Top Gear America is going to air... And anyone looking for top gear clips seach youtube or tuninglinx.com has a bunch

Or you could just go to FinalGear.com and download every single full, uncut episode from all eleven seasons.
