Default Traffic Violation follow up

For those who care I got a BS ticket in May, decided to fight it and was scheduled to appear in court on the 20th of this month. I just got a letter from the DMV saying the court date is rescheduled to 12/19/06 WTF? Seems kinda weird for them to push it back that far, I'm thinking this is a typo or something. Either way atleast I don't have to worry about this BS for a few months. By then I'll totally forget my story and have to make up some other crap.

If you got a ticket in the Boogie Down you are toast.

it's because our court system is failing and our law enforcement is doing the same...so they write more tickets to make more money, but they can't handle the influx of court appearances from all the people fighting their BS tickets...its all good though because a traffic violation stays on your record for 3 years from the date of the violation. so the longer it takes them to get it taken care of, the less time it will be on your record for. i postpone all the violations i get as long as possible..
