yes speeding in PA will effect your insurance in MA.. it will go on your record that you have a "moving violation" and how it works is Insurance companies do periodic checks of your driving records and thats how they know when you have done such things.. I am not sure where your are seeing the two differences with violation and citation.. Maybe on the ticket itself? as a checkbox or something. But I believe that you recieve a citation for a speeding violation make sense?
