Eh, I put a spin on cliche heh... I got a single Hersheys stock certificate framed with a nice engraved plaque along the lines of "on our 1st valentines day, I'm putting stock in our future"

Gonna have a few other nice lil gestures too like massage, home cooked dinner etc. The chef skills come into play on days like this

something cute and like i said a spin on the old chocolates for v-day. I can't wait to see the reaction heh
I'm not allowed to cook for Valentines (or any special occasion, for that matter.) Last time I did, I put three people including my girl in the hospital at about 2AM. Fun fun

I figure since I don't do it professionally anymore, I should use the skills to impress once in a while this is a good excuse

Well, it turns out that when things have an expiration date, usually it means that you probably shouldn't use them anymore, and spend the extra 15 minutes to go to the store and buy new ones

hahah that sucks, but yeah most expiration dates are somehwhat valid heh. lesson learned though so cook again for them :P
