I just want to say everyone has hardships and you need to find a way through it. I watched as my grandmother was diagnosed with brain cancer, underwent chemotherapy, and eventually died. 2 years ago in high school a good friend of mine crashed his explorer into a tree and died. Last winter one of my SCUBA diving buddys had a heart attack at 80ft underwater while i was with him and died from a combination of that and over expansion injuries. I sat on a boat in mexico with his dead body and his son for 2 hours before the coroner and fererales came. My father had 3 major gastrointestinal surgery's on the past 6 years and spent over a year in the hospital, each one resulted in an infection. He was overmedicated and was on the verge of death because a nurse changed to a stronger pain killer but didnt lower the dose. When he came home he couldnt eat for months and was on a machine feeding lipids through a semi-permanant IV in his neck. Ever heard of a colostomy bag?

Want me to go on? Iv got a whole lot more, but know what the truth is? That has nothing to do with the group buy, he had an obligation and responsibility which he completely neglected. When he came back to post about his GF he certainly saw the group buy thread and CHOSE not to post in it, he also CHOSE not to send the money to someone who could handle it. Jazz didint need to explain ****, hes a stranger on the internet and I dont give a **** about his personal life as im sure he dosnt care about mine. His responsibility was to take 20 minutes to send the money and order to the company. If he couldnt handle it he could have just sent it to someone else to do.

What bothers me even more and early on in this ordeal he started complaining about how his computer broke, hes working 2 jobs, bla bla bla. He needed money, he took ours.

Jazz dosnt need to explain ****. He needs to get everyone their money back.

I can understand your frustration... while I do not know Jazz personally. I can say from his post that I've seen he seems like a stand up dude. However, always two sides to every story... I am not saying I agree with you or him.About 2-3YRS ago i bought a B6 SWITCHBLADE from a user from this site called 'BENTFRAME" he told me it was cuttable yadd yadda. Well, turns out after 1-month of trying NO ONE WOULD TOUCH THAT KEY. I asked for a refund *60$* He said send him the key back-->2-3yrs later I SENT THE KEY BACK AND NEVER HEARD FROM HIM OR GOT REFUNDED. SO YES, I GOT RIPPED OFF. No one cared everyone "vouced for him" just because his post count was 5000 woo hoo yea for him.I know where you are coming from man!

Even the most knowlegable members with veteran status....are shady as ****.The best I can do is give you guys some advice and point you all in right direction.

Contact the FBI branch in your state if you have to.
FILE A REPORT WITH LOCAL SHERRIF

if you charged it, call your credit card company and you should ger refunded withing 10 minutes (all of you) Those that pulled STRAIGHT FROM BANK--via paypal. Contact bank see if they will reverse the charge.

Since it is multiple people & 600$.... I am sure FBI CYBERCRIMES division would take a look.

Good luck to you all.

Why can people take control of themselves. If you payed him via paypal, set up a claim and be done with this.

CincyTT, BY PAYPAL "procedure" their is a specific deadline to file a claim and it's 45-days. SO if he kept telling everyone ok-ok Im buying the plates soon or they are getting shipped soon or w/e the case....he PROlonged all of that and dragged out the 45-days.

I will give you an example....say i sell you RIMS for $1000.00 and you ask me after 30-days where are my RIMS and i say they were shipped-you ask me for tracking and I drag that out or amke excuses. After 45-days u go to paypal to file a claim, YOU WILL GET DENIED and I keep $1000.

I just sold a PC for $1400 on EBAY...the videocard didnt work I guess it broke during shipping. So the guy sent me the videocard back 8800GTX (which is still like $400 on newegg new)
Well it's almost 45 days after purchase and I am about to RMA the card back...I could be a dick and RMA it then keep it. He wouldnt be able to do sh|t. Theirs ways to beat the system man if you're smart about it.

So FILING A CLAIM---->not an option for any of em.

voting against - I'm with Spankster (never thought I'd ever say that - jk )

if he violates the AF rules then it's the admin's issue. personally I never understood the plate group buy thing - bought a plate for $40 myself some time ago - getting a discount on a $700 exhaust or chip upgrade - yeah - but $40?? lol

I agree, but not because he took their money. As far as I'm concerned that is business between him and the buyers only, it does not involve the mechanics of the forum at all. (With the exception of using the forum to state opinions and update the situation for others.)

I think he should lose mod status due to the fact trhat he's never here. How can you be an effective moderator if you're not on the board you moderate?

^^ also agreed.

I'd say remove his moderator status. I still want to give him a chance to redeem all of this, if thats what he plans to do. Who knows. I'd like to see him punished but him being banned won't make me feel any better about losing my money.

I know he is going through tough times, apparently..but can he seriously not take 2 seconds to come on and even APPOLOGIZE to all of the people (including me) he has taken 600$ from? Nope.
