It seems like people are leaving left and right around here, but I gotta add to it. I am down to less than 9 days before I head back to the desert for another year [:@] I wont be able to get on the internet much over there cuz you are limited to only 30 minutes, and sometimes you have to wait up to 2-3 hours just to get your 30 minutes, so that time will be spent talking to family and doing work stuff. I will still check in from time to time, just be awhile in between. Hopefully most of you are still around when I get back. Take care.

My brother-in-law just got back from a 7-8 month stint.
His advice is to watch your ***, watch the *** of the guys in your unit, and prepare for boredom on a scale you never imagined possible.
Keep your head down, your eyes open, and come back safe.

Damn that sucks, those last couple weeks of waiting are the worse. You've been there done that so dealing with the boredom and BS of deployment will be a bit less difficult. Drop us a line every now and then to let us know whats going on. Stay safe, many blessings.
