MP7's are way fun, and if you're willing to forego full auto, it's not impossible for a civillian to own one. But, do you really want to spend $4000+ on it?

No, guns aren't expensive. Good guns are expensive. Much like cars. You can go to Wal-Mart and buy some POS rifle for $100, and you can go to a Kia dealership and buy a Rio for $4500 (brand new, not financed.) Or, you can buy a HK MSG-90 for about $10,000 and an Audi R8 for about $100,000. You get what you pay for in both, and there is plenty of room in between. Not all cheap guns are crap, and not all expensive guns are good, but precision German guns are far from cheap and almost in a league of their own for quality.

 

so once again the German's make good stuff that is worth the price of admision

 

The G3 based guns have (as far as guns go) a fairly soft receiver. This makes them slightly less accurate off the shelf, but since they have a little bit more 'play' to them, they can tolerate when things aren't perfectly lined up and adjusted. Just think of your Audi and how long you can do with things way out of whack and possibly broken. That's kinda the same mentality of Russian guns, they can take horrible amounts of abuse and they just keep going because they are designed with huge tolerances and can withstand being dragged through the mud, run over by a truck, and will still shoot fairly straight. Real Russian guns are one of the consistent few exceptions to cheap guns being crap Kickass!

 

I have a .40 cal Smith and Wesson. semi auto

and it fits perfectly in the built in drawer under my drivers seat. how convienent

Those things are hilarious and perfectly legal to 'convert' your semi-auto gun into full-auto. Just don't expect to hit anything with it!

i've never fired a gun although i think it might be fun to learn.
but would a woman with a gun be a dangerous thing?

 

I've no problem with women and guns, the only problem I have is when they feel protected carrying an ineffective weapon and no training.
