Ooooh Rah. Hey CLX, who made the grips for your Beretta (the one in your sig)? They look pretty sweet.

Hogue makes them. Extreme Aluminum grips! They come in all sorts of colors and with or without flames. Great stuff!

I should look into them! I've always loved their wood revolver grips.

they are a blast to shoot at the range.....and a 5shot .38s HAS crossed my mind for an ankle holster....my buddy just picked up a charter arms, 38s hammerless dao, with about 1.5 inch barrel, weighs about the same as a loaded magazine for my walther p99.....lol
and it only cost him 300 total, brand new...not a bad deal...shoots nice too

Well Jeff, turn into Jerry Miculek and reloading won't be a problem. Plus, with practice 5-6 shots is more than enough in a personal defense situation. Also with revolvers you don't really have to worry about stovepipes or any other malfunction that you'd have to worry about with your super-polymer high cap wundergun. I like auto-pistols, but wheel guns are just so much sexier and more reliable. If you don't believe me on the reliable part you can contact Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch, John Taffin, or Mike Venturino. All three also write for American Handgunner. But don't get me wrong, the 1911 is real ******' nice.
