What do you carry?
will do! Truly I like the Beretta - but the damn thing is smaller and heavier than either my Walther P99 .40 or Springfield XD9 and their much bigger.
Nothing's lighter or deadlier than my FN Five-Seven though

I'm starting to research now for my next one, most likely a .40.
Back from the dead... and just picked this up!
Ruger SR9 - 17+1 capacity - Blackened stainless slide - adjustable sights

LOVE IT!
It's basically a glock, but way prettier... and better feeling/shooting/priced imo, too. I also like how it's made in the USA.

Shoots great. 200+ rounds, no failures. Shoots smooth and gets back on target quick. Feels awesome. My buddy who has a p90/95 both 9mm and .45 cal got me turned onto Ruger. The P90 felt a little bulky for me, and I wasn't a fan of the grips. The SR9 is not even as bulky as a glock, and I'm now a big fan of the striker fire design. Was worried about trigger feel, but it's not too gritty at all. I will carry at some point. It's a very safe gun which was important to me, holds an *** load of ammo, and provides a picatinny rail for a light/laser. The grip is also adjustable. The back part slides out and you can reverse it for a wider grip if needed. For ~$400, I HIGHLY recommend it! You can't really beat it for the price. And it's sexy.
It's Rugers first striker fired pistol, and supposedly was only possible because Mr. Ruger died. Apparently he was not interested in having stirker fired pistols made in his name. Maybe to prevent being labled as a copier of Glock, etc. Whateva.

I just bought a Taurus Tracker .357 7 shot 6.5" barrel revolver for my birthday
Waiting for that baby to come - here's a pic

My HK P2000 SK still has yet to arrive - UPS says Monday to my FFL here - then I have to wait the 10 day period
One slight bitch though about the HK - it's a subcompact, which I wanted, but the grip is too small for my hand. Luckily I can use the standard P2000 .40SW magazines with a small rubber grip collar that fills in the gap. Fits like a glove (tested this out on a store employees pistol).
This is great for two reasons - besides fit - the original SK mag only held 9 rounds the standard holds 10 - so I get the full CA legal load now
