Default What a weekend

So after having the worst ******* week of my life, work network infected by virus making my job 10X more difficult, home comp harddrive crashed, then icing on the cake, wife says she wants a f'n divorce.
I head to the mall to blow off some steam, and the way home I start my way into the left turn lane on the corner of 132/45 in Gurnee, Illinois and all the sudden BOOM.
I can tell I have a flat so I roll into the gas station... Front drivers side wheel is destroyed. My 16 inch wheel off a 91 Coupe Quattro turbo. Knocked my front bumper that I JUST fixed two weeks ago back off and now my headlights are not aligned properly. Thank god my friends picked up the phone, had to have them drive all the way form Wisconsin with my summer BBS Wheels, a jack, and a lug key.
On a plus note, it wasn’t ridiculously cold that night, and the car seems to drive straight and stuff still...

EDIT: oh yeah it was a pothole, that was hidden by the curb as you enter the left turn lane. They have not fixed it and I am the 47th person that has pulled into that gas station with a flat from it.

Sorry, man. When it rains, it pours. Here's to the spring time and women in t-shirts fighting a cool breeze.

You seem more upset about a flat tire than you do about your wife leaving you :/

Well, hopefully luck turns around for you in the near future.

I have been thinking about getting a used longblock and building the fu*k out of it...

forged internals should get me over 500hp right? thought someone said the block could take 700ish as long as the internals were all forged...

That would own.
