What's the best PS2 or X Box racing game?
That game was released with 3 different names... THREE!!! Thats a good way to destory a brand name...
The version I have is V8 super cars.. something blah blah blah. The game featured a plethora of cars that would be unlocked for certain races. You couldnt actually own cars to mod, since the game took you on a linear story path. The engine itself is still impressive. A real reflections engine, high poly cars, physics (not so great), and a crazy damage model that rendered out instantly. The game also ran at 60fps while having more than12 cars on screen, which is nice.
The coolest thing about this game is the fact it has a clutch. You can set it up that one trigger is the clutch and the other trigger is the gas. You can stall the car and ruin your engine or transmission depending on how you race (all optional). I use this game if I want to teach someone how to drive stick... since it works perfectly. It conveys the initial concept of it.
BTW... here are some pics.
You can go to the codemasters website or any game info website and look it up. The nice thing is this game is cheap, at most its $20. If forza wasnt around, this would still be my favorite sim racer for the XBOX.

OMG... just a heads up on a new game called LA RUSH. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE piece of ****! I cant even begin to convey my hatred of this game. Its just not fun to play. Car physics are terrible, the graphics engine is ported from the PS2 (opengl to d3d is always a bad move), the voice acting is horrible, ugh... the list goes on and on. I wasted my time trying it out.
DELETED!!!

I'm gona pick up a copy of GTA-Liberty City when it comes out later this month for PSP. That should be some pretty good driving to cool tunes. Driving physics? Well, there are some great crashes.
Evil, I've always wished there was a video game with a clutch and everything, thats pretty cool. Too bad they don't make force feedback chairs so you can really feel the car bucking.
Hey, whoever was showing pictures of Juiced: I played that game for PC, but it was pretty bad in my opinion. It seems like they wanted to get a piece of the FnF/NFSU hype with the street racing idea, yet every track is a closed circuit. Anyone play Colin McRae Rally 2005 (PC and Xbox)? I know its about a year old, but I've been having fun with it on my PC with my steering wheel/pedal combo.
