If there is a change in allowed sig pic sizes, it's news to me. I wouldn't blame them if they put a restriction on it though. Some peoples sigs are annoyingly huge. After all the complaints about the site speed, I would bet a lot of money thats one of the ways they are trying to speed it up.

i think its smart how they reduced the allowed size... but!!! maybe a little bigger? or at least allow wider sigs... ex, about 2 inches high only, but as wide as the post can be..

I think the smaller sig's is good if its true. I usually want to read the forum not everyone's signature lol. I still need to make one though lol.

but like i mentioned above, everyone uses pic hosting off site, it shouldn't eat up bandwidth and slow the site. It WOULD load slower for someone with a slow connection, but thats a personal problem, its not the site.

Never looked, but is there an option to turn off sigs? I've used that on some forums where people have sig pics that take up half the screen. Thats a good option for those who don't like looking at sig pics, or have a slow connection, but we all shouldnt' have to suffer for those types.


I had this sized to spread across most of a standard screen, but not take up much height so it wouldn't interfere with reading threads. I've always thought it was a good size. While were on the subject, is it tolerable, or too big?
