When its ok to use the "F" word..
near as I can tell, only the painted kids is a "real" shot. The rest are chopped. As a 'Rent, I can HONESTLY say, at THAT point, you're basically speechless. Uttering ANYthing would be a phenominal achievement.
For ME, it wasn't paint. It was my then collection of Bburago 1/18th scale Metal Models. 9, in all. 6 of which were Limited Editions and ONLY released in Europe, and so ACTUALLY worth something, IF they had made it back to the States. I walked into our 5th floor apartment (numero venti, via ca'Misani, Camisano, Italy) to can only be described as miniatureCARnage. LITTERally! Car parts EVERYWHERE!!! Strewn about, as though a tiny 1/18th scale tornado, or perhaps a 1/18th scale Godzilla, had blown through. After standing and staring, stunned BEYOND words, for almost 20 full minutes, I sat and wept, for another 20. Honestly, I did cry.
I'm stronger, now, for having lived throught that experience without killing my then (now EX) wife, for allowing it to happen (we'd been arguing, for, like, a week). Just DON'T EVER say the words Bburago and collectible in teh same sentence, around me, if I'm holding anything spillable or flamable, OK?
