The issue with sex-ed for 5 year olds seems to have good intentions but it is susceptible to abuse, as are many liberal policies. If molestation prevention is the main goal here, than Obama should have supported legislation that directly educates children about the dangers of pedophiles etc. The legislation that he supported attempted to expand sex education from 6th grade down to kindergarten in a way that is "age appropriate." In stead of defining "age appropriate" as molestation prevention, he allows the phrase to be interpreted by local authorities to include what they beleive is appropriate. That may be a acceptable for a junoir senator to support, but the president should show some leadership and be specific about exactly where the limit should be set. The legislation was obviously too vague and was rejected.

Yeah...B. Clinton tried that with N. Korea dealing with the nukes and they lied like they always do. They use the direct talks as a bargining tool while they have millions and millions of its own people starving. N.Korea, Iran and others that are a Terrorist making machine are not to be talked to like a little kid. They have had plenty of chances to build their ecomony with our help and other countries help but they turn it down.

Do your research...plus the president role of Iran was in a key role during the 1979 US Embassy hostage for 444 days on Jimmy's Carter watch and he did nothing...once Reagan (Republician) was sworn in...those 52 hostage's was released because they knew Reagan carried a big stick and not a sugar kane like Carter did.

So you would have Obama sit down and talk about how much he loves islam when he meets that iranian president...oh yeah...obama said he will sit down and talk to him.

I guess you dont know your history that well...maybe you should read up because you liberals are looking more stupid every day.....

Wanna go on the record for saying that you believe Obama will show his terrorist ways within the next 4 years?

DUDE ******* GROW UP AND GET OVER THE FACT YOUR CANIDATE LOST!

Theres no need to keep posting anit-Obama threads when theres nothing anyone can do. Thats just shallow when you compared the Obama logo to the Islamic symbol, they're both round, great! Why dont you jump to conclusions and say saab is an islamic company too.

Keep watching youtube and complaining about everything for the next 8 years.

Great job citing a 2 year old press conference by the way.

BTW, if anything thats a friggen Turkish symbol, not an Islamic symbol. Pretty sure there is no symbol for Islam, but the Crecent Moon and star have been around since long before Christ, and didnt have any link with Muslims until the Turks conquored Constantinople in the 1400's.

Now you have me involved, and I'm breaking down your 'facts'. Now what?

Maybe this guy will run and find a forum full of his own kind. God knows there are lots of 'em, it seems... they can all rant about Obama, and how he's the anti-Christ.

Obama is the president and is open to criticism in the same way that Bush was critisized everyday of his presidency. Bush and McCain are old news and further criticism of them at this point only serves as a distraction.

Now I dont think that Obama is a terrorist, but I do beleive that he associated with "ex-terrorist" Bill Ayers. He's not the anti-christ but he does think that people cling to religion. He certaintly doesnt represent a change from the old political system - he has lobbyist working in the White House after promising not to, he has atleast 3 of his potential cabinet members involved in tax evasion and other issues, he claims to have reached out to republicans in an unprecedented way but not a single house republican vote for the stimulus bill meanwhile his democratic friends claim to be "non-partisan" and at the same time they attack the republicans for not voting for a bill that is loaded with billions of dollars in liberal pet projects.

These are really issues for a different thread, but the point is that Obama is the new President and not everyone agrees with him. Europe is already bashing his protectionist economic policies that cater to the Unions who gave him so much campaign money and support.

Damn, AutoUnionFan! You started that off so well - then took a dive.

Bill Ayers is a moot and obscure point. Honest. If you want to fault Obama for "knowing" him - then fault all those that "appointed" him to education counsels and such.

He also wanted to abolish monogamy - and I doubt many men would criticize him for that.

People do "cling" to things when life gets tough. Gold, family, religion, guns, traditions, etc... It's human nature.

Actually he doesn't have lobbyist in the White House - he does have one working as the Undersecretary of Defense under Gates (a Republican) who demanded that an exception be made, and that's at the Pentagon. Not saying it's wrong - because it goes directly against his anti-lobby stance...

As for the stimulus - I hate to break the news to everyone - but there are pet projects on all sides in this thing. As for promoting contraceptions to teenagers (and younger) I'm all for it only to keep the populace under a managable number.

Mark my words, population control may reach Chinese type measures in our lifetime if it's not slowed down some.

They need to start taking the warning labels off of stuff. I haven't seen a really good candidate for the Darwin Awards in quite a while.
Idiots killing themselves is good entertainment AND its good for the human race.
