I won't lie...My parents bought me a brand-new Scion tC for my 16th birthday. Sickening, for plenty of reasons. And then after the new-car euphoria wore off, I realized what a piece it was, how big a target for jerkoffs at school it was, (keyed twice, scraped twice, ruined passenger door and dented rear bumper in six months of driving to school) and how long the warranty lasted (extended warranty=seven years, 80,000 miles. Who needs that on a Camry engine?) So I sold it back to the dealer for ~4000 less than it was purchased for, and then bought my A4 for 10,500 with almost all the mods in my sig, from a guy who raced 930 slant-nose Porsches back in the day, and fixed up the Audi for his daughter to drive.

I'm a spoiled bitch, and admit it freely. At least I didn't wreck my first car and get another one from my parents. I pay for gas, maintenance and any increases in insurance caused by me.

lets see my parents got be my first car with was a salavaged civic which my uncle sold for me and i used that money and the money i saved up and i bought my baby in full
so it was mostly me and help from my parents

 

I am paying my car for myself. I'm 22 and I didn't have a cosigner, just me. My parents haven't helped me at all with my car or with any monetary income what so ever.
