if it were between these two women i would pick hillary.
i do think it will happen in our lifetime
i wouldn't consider it an accomplishment and i wouldn't vote for a woman over a man just to be able to have a woman in office and get all giddy that we made some sisterhood movement

If it were between these two women, I would just vote 3rd party. In my opinion, Condi is a neocon RINO, and Hitlery is a socialist.
I honestly think the whole 'woman debate' is stupid. Instead of voting by gender, we should vote on merits. I'm sure there are plenty of women more qualified than either of our last picks. Same goes for having a president who is a different race. Who really cares what color or what parts you have, its your beliefs that should swing a vote towards you.
That said, my prediction is that in 2008, the ticket will go to the Democrats, most likely they will hold it for 4 years, then the 'R's come back for maybe another 4, followed by 8 years 'D'. Just my predictions, but so much can happen in 2 year's time.

the george w bitch/john frankenstein kerry election prooved one thing.
the people do not care if they are lied to, or about the quality of the man they vote for or even the seeming lack of intelligence of either candidate.
the majority of people will vote for the most charismatic candidate.
especially the midwest and the south.
if the democratic party wants to win then the smart money is on john edwards.
on another note the chances of having a woman president jumped by leaps and bounds recently when germany elected or appointed or whatever they do a woman to run their counrty. especially when you factor in that a woman already has nearly half the vote because almost every woman....especially feminists......is going to vote for her.

No one in the US cares if a woman is in charge of Germany, or anywhere else, when it comes time to vote here. It all comes down to the individual candidate and the campaign that they have run.

Just google greatest democracy and see what comes up.... This is not an attack on the US by the way, but an attack on the fact that in the US, only the obscenely rich can become president, and that the other poster is right, that there will not be a black, or female president for a long time.
