Default Why buy a Audi.....?

Hello everyone,
I am in the market for a new car and I am chatting with different people from different forums to get a good feel for my next vehicle. I buy a new car a 5-6 years and do a lot of research because I dont want to make a bad decision (and then be stuck with it for 5+ years!) My Grandmother bought a Audi 20 years ago and still owns it to this day!!
Any info you have about Audi would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Hi Trader4Less, welcome to the forums. It's hard to explain as to why buy an Audi. I had never driven one or considered one before my current A4. The sales guy convinced me to test drive it, that's all it took. 30 minutes later I was filling out the paper work.

What in particular set your A4 off from a Lexus, or Mercedes? Price? Comfort? Quality? SO many cars to choose from!!

Well I wasn't even considering a luxary sedan. I went in to test drive a Nissan pathfinder! It was just such a smooth ride, and the handling characteristics sold me.

SUV's are highly overrated but very popular these days. My real estate agent drives an H2...why? Guess she makes enough money to pay for the gas! lol

Yeah, i'm glad I saw the light. Have you test drove an audi yet? How about some other companies? I find the European styling to be more appealing and refined than japenese also.

I have been test driving for a few months now. My girlfriend put the fire under my seat when last sept/oct we were looking for a new car for HER! She wanted BMW or Mercedes but she ended up buying a Nissan Maxima...she wanted the 260 hp v-6 that they put in that thing. Overral reliability is great but I believe the Germans tweak their cars just right. So now I am having a hard time buying!

I know about the repair costs. I will probably do a lease, then i am covered 100%. So I want to be under $500 a month so I am starting to look for lease specials. Heard of any?

ahh well i cant really tell you anything else but that if you get the audi you will be driving german made perfection..
youll fall in love with it and vise versa.. its like these cars have minds of their own.. everyday that goes by is a better driving experience for me.. i love this car. ive been in and driven many many different cars, but ive never really felt "there". the audi creates a state of being that no other car has been able to match.

its hard to explain, go for a test drive.
