its like building an RC car. Its fun because you know that you did it yourself and after you spent a lot of time building it, working on it, testing it out; you can go out and drive it around. Its the best feeling in the world.

 

haha i built a RC car. It went like 50 mph! It was a duen buggy. After it was built and everything i got bored of it an dnever had time to drive it around. So i sold it on ebay for 250.

 

I was inspired by the amazing "Fast and the Furious."

Like Panda says... I drive alot, its a passion. My Dad loves to golf and I love to drive.

Its like any hobbie... you always want the best and improve, always moving forward. When I first got my car.. I knew I wanted to mod it.

 

well i wasnt incredibly into modding at first... just little things here and there...

but after i broke up with my gf all of a sudden i had ALL THIS EXTRA MONEY and the modding just WOULD NOT STOP!

 

same things also when i had my civic i also had a GF and when i broke up wit her
then i got my audi i havent found a new GF and my GF funds became my car funds

when i was with her modding was pretty slow...

 

i really had no ambition to modify my BMW.. but then i took a ride in my friends Datsun that he had heavily modified the performance.. and i realized how much fun could be had. i like that when i pull up next to someone they don't think i'm fast, but then i torch em when it turns green. great feeling knowing it was all me that made me fast. so i guess after all that rambling its because of the self-gratification.

im like tom just not to the extreme. I would if i had the skill but i dont so...

 

I got sucked into this forum. I had no knowledge 5 months ago. Now all i think about is what to do with the car. thanks guys lol
