The worlds changing guys, with a new president and democratic majority in the house and senate it is likely we may see the end of the federal war on marijuana, leaving it up to the states and more importantly US to vote on. The voters of Massachussetts just passed question 2 decriminalizing under an OZ of marijuana by nearly a 70% majority! voters in michigan voted on Medical marijuana and now patients there may finally gain access to the medicine they need.

Too many peoples opinions are products of the FALSE war on marijuana and our governments Black propaganda campaign of the past 75 years. Too much money is spent arresting, punishing, and jailing productive members of our society for a substance that has been proven time and time again to be weaker than beer.

Marijuana and Hemp are one and the same. Up untill early last century marijuana was the single most prescribed medicine on earth, it was even used by the queen of england for menstral cramps. George washington despaired at vally forge not because of the conditions for him and his men, but because he wasnt on his farm to harvest his Marijuana plants to smoke himself! There are over 25,000 uses for the hemp plant no just rope like john mccain seems to think. This single plant has the ability to supply the entire planet with a renewable source of food, fuel, and fiber.

Far cheaper to grow, and farm more productive per acre, Hemp could supply ALL of our transportation fuel needs, from airplanes to $1.25 a gallon gass in your tank. And unlike burning the remains of rainforests billions of years old we are removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere far faster than we can release it burning hemp fuel.

Hemp is stronger than cotton, additionally it needs no chemical herbicides or pesticides to grow as it chokes out weeds and has 0 natural predators. As much as half of all pesticides used in the USA are used on cotton. Hemp clothing is more durable and better insulating. Hemp can make particle board, insulation, and concrete for building, cellophane, carpet. You name it, Hemp has done it.

I would reccomend the book "the emperor wears no clothes" by Jack Herer, it will give you new perspective and enlighten you to the attrocities that have occured the past century. END prohibition now. Right now i am facing the possible loss of all my federal financial aid for college, over $10,000 a year. This year my touition went to my lawyer and i work every day.... I have just taken place in the greatest election of my life, and i may never be able to vote again. Instead of breaking in my new stage III gear next summer, i may be going to jail. I have commited a non-violent victemless crime. I allowed a few seeds to germinate, the rain watered them, the sun beckoned them to grow twords the sky, and i am a felon because of it. ^^^ hell yes you are brother. Sorry to hear about getting popped. I just helped my buddy get back on his feet after 15 mos in lock up for his work two summers ago. The laws are fucked up. This may be a stupid question but have you contacted NORML at all? They helped with his legal fees... kicked him like over 4 g's.

 

so, back on a lighter subject, you guys ever try using butane to strip the oils out of buds/leaves? Packed a film canister with leaves and got 1 drop of oil that I then soaked a little bud in. gave it to my friend, he took one hit, and drooled on the couch for half the night.

 

naw stay away from the butane ..... get everclear and a stove and BE CAREFUL. Hash oil is the way to go. Makes use of all those leaves, and the butter, ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the butter from leaves.

 

nothing wrong with butane, it boils off clean and you can do it at room temperature, aka, no fire hazard.

depends on how much you have to process, the original instructions i read involved 3' of 1" PVC tube. I only had a little bit to go with, and it fit a film canister, so thats what I used. Watch it though, as the butane will freeze your skin if you soak your fingers with it like I did.

Basically, pack your tube, not real tight, caps on both ends. Bottom cap has a bunch of holes in it, top cap has 1 hole that just fits the nozzle of one of those lighter refill canisters. Spray the contents of the butane canister thru the top hole, and collect it in a bowl/dish on the bottom. The butane will evaporate (takes about an hr) leaving a golden colored oil. Way faster/easier/cleaner than boiling it down on a stove.
