No im to cheap to fork out that kind of money right now. It's a Sharp MB50X-L DLP projector that I bought for $530 as a Christmas gift to myself.

man projector is sweeet - u dont need the floor space -

It kicks a$$ and its relatively cheap considering the alternative. 100" LCD or Plasma is a new Audi.

So far I spent....
$530 on the projector
$40 on DIY screen
$50 for cables
$20 for DIY ceiling mount

If I had a basement I would spend more money to make a theater. (flat black walls and ceiling, couple leather couch's, can accent lighting etc.....) I could make it happen for about $1500. Ah the dreams!

I'll try to remember to get some pics tonight.

I have the perfect front room for it - but it's already dominated by a 7' pool table and poker table - putting in a wet bar next summer

That's the wife's second best place to visit on the coast... will have to make that...

As for poker - damn maybe we can through together a game then - be a helluva drive for me for a night with the guys
