I know everyone has seen the 'electric superchargers' floating around eBay and ricer crowds for a while now. Usually a fan put inline on the intake that promises big gains for the $50 or whatever. Then there are the custom leaf blower intakes and crap like that. They are hilarious and all, but everyone knows that they don't work at all. Has anyone ever seen or heard of the one in the provided link, though? It's like, a real turbo housing and compressor powered by a real electric motor. Crazy!

Sounds pretty crazy! Would give it more credibility if they didn't say everything had to bee done my the purchaser and all that fabrication BS. Shouldn't THEY be able to do it, or open up a shop or something in the major cities?

 

800 is a bit much but it does seem promising.
