XM sucks!
My car has xm available and I was gonna get it when I got back to the states. I am here now and rented a car with xm and it is, well, pretty crappy. It seems like I keep hearing the same songs on the similar genre channels. My buddy I am staying with has Sirius on his sattelite dish and it is way better.
Anyone know what is involved in switching factory installed xm to sirius??

We've got XM here on our boat, in about 10 different spots throughout the ship. I love channel 48, Squizz XL, and they play a pretty good mix. You are going to have to change the receiver out to use the Siruis system, different units...

Squizz is pretty good. But I listen to some rap as well, and there are like 4 channels for it. And between those for channels I have heard that damn "Ridin Dirty" song almost 200 times. [:@]I dont like it to start wth.
Guess I will see what that will set me back to change them out.

I have XM and I do like it... but yeah, I like new rock/alternative, and some of the best new songs are hardly played! Grr!
The concept of sat radio however, is awesome. Digital quality, commercial free... it's killer! Plus it tells me which song is playing, which is amaaaaazing! haha

I have xm too I like it. but i listen to nearly every kind of music. from classical to hard rock and alternetive back to jazz and old time country.... so for me I listen to about 3 songs then switch.
I rarely use normal radio... I have only 7 stations set on my normal radio and every xm station memorized.
