Yellow European Plate??
Ok so I have to get a new plate because I left my last one on when i sold my car(it just made the car look great), plus the city letters were done for BMW and now I am going IN.... for Audi, but anyway, I was thinking of maybe getting the yellow to set it apart a little bit, but does anyone know if yellow is actually ever used in Germany?? As far as I know I don't think it is, please clairafiy, thanks!! Heres a pictue, tell me what you think.

RE: Yellow European Plate??
Ah yes, I belive thats correct, thanks so much. I think I am definitely going to go with yellow, and all though it will not technically be correct, I think it will look sharp matched with my black paint, plus the Black eagle crest will go nicely. I will post some pics once I purchase it, and get a new camera, my five year old digital is shot.

^^and slightly less-espensive that the site the OP posted. Plus, not to be funny or anything but, when I visited the OP's link my firewall trigered a *suspecious-bahavior* warning about the site. Anybody who visited that link might wanna run a virus scan, in the very near future.
Just putting it out there...

RE: Yellow European Plate??
it depends on your particular state. If your state requires a front plate you cannot legally have it in place of your front tag, not even if you mimic your legally issued plate number in the euro-plate. But, I have heard anectdotal evidence of some people getting away with doing just that very thing.
Some states that require a front tag will not even allow you to have ANY type of additional plate/tag on your front bumber, even if you retain your state-issued plate on the front. Again, some people say they are able to get away with this, sometimes, due to po-po who are enthuiasts or unusually understanding, for a po-po (much like our own notahondaowner).
If your state is one of the ones that do not require a front plate/tag, you are free to put a euro plate/tag on the front of your vehicle w/o worry (well, except that someone may like it MORE than you, and run off with it, that is.).
